BMW vs AUDI?

what top of the line car do they have......and what about the 1997 models which one's were better

Anthony is a moron. The 745i/il didn't show up until much later. In 1997 they made a 740i, 740il, 750il, 740i sport. No 4.5 liter V8 yet. That motor came out in 2001. That being said....NO ONE SHOULD EVER HAVE TO ASK THIS QUESTION. What would you rather have? A VW Passat or a BMW 7 series? Hmm...VW or BMW what shall I do? Hope its obvious. Same reason I will never own a Porsche. It has VW all over it.

You know, I've been noticing for years now that Audis cost more than BMW's. I just wonder, ''who on earth would buy an Audi?''. People do it, though.
BMW vs. Audi is the same as BMW vs. VW. Now make the obvious decision which is better.
BMW 7 Series or the Audi A8 are the two top of the line ''Flagship'' models. In '97 BMW had a 745i, 745iL (the longer one) and a 750iL. The first two having a 4.5 liter V8 and the latter had a 5.0 V12 that is personally, one of my favorite cars ever. Audi's cars were 8 cylinder although they did produce a sport version the S8 which was a pretty amazing car. I happen to love BMW though so i would recommend a 7 series.
