BMW 328i coupe sharpest car for the money?

Isn't the 328i coupe the sharpest looking car for the money? Any experiences with the vehicle? I'm thinking about getting one. Thanks

You really cannot go wrong with an old BMW as long as you accept the fact that it's gonna take $$$ to keep her going. I drive an old BMW and wouldn't change it for the world. Sure it leaks one in a bit, suspension components and brake require attention every few years but these babys will run 1/2 million miles if you keep up with them....and they perform and have a 'cool' factor to boot! Beats owning a new Honda or Toyota any day of the week.

Has received excellent ratings in consumer reports.org, unique style and handling. The closer competition would be Acura TL b/c is has all features in one price versus adding on features such as navigation, sequential transmission, etc. Now, Acura TL will have new model design this late Fall 2007, so things can change. While Acura TL has more room in the back, the 328i has rear wheel drive than acura fwd, which makes significant difference in accerating and turning at the same time. Finally, acura doesn't cover for 4 yr/50,000 miles maintanance, but the if you calculate the rough cost of paying for maintance for Acura Tl it adds up to cost of owning a BMW.
i just bought a 97 328iS, and I am loving it. it's sporty, quick, and handles excellent.
