Open boot manually.

Undo boot light.

Carefully identify positive and negative terminals.

Attach battery charger, choosing low current to avoid the inrush blowing the

fuse.

Switch on and wait for ~30mins by when it should be possible to operate the

electric locks.

I saw an A.A man get into a 5 series with a flat battery .

He opened the boot and removed the plastic cover and bulb from the courtesy light then attached a power pack to the light bulb connections via crocodile clips.This gave the system enough power to open.

Just use the key.
You should still be able to open the door manually using the key itself and not the fob . Try the boot lock or if you can get the bonnet open ( some open from outside with the key ) use jump leads to power the battery this should automatically open the door`s . if this fail`s then you need to get the professionals in ( bodey %26 doyle ) .
