BMW 318i M3 - Accelerator sticking?

Hi guys,

Looking for some advice on what to do about my accelerator. It gets stuck for like 2 seconds (makes it sound like i cant drive) when i press it, and also when i change from 2nd to 3rd and 1st to 2nd? any suggestions to help fix it?

No kidding - I was about to talk about the mats before reading the above answer.

The mats have black round grabbits under them. Make sure your mat isn't slipping when you get in and push it up with your shoe.

When you are in, reach down and pull the mat back.

Now try it.

take to bmw asap, there may be a recall u don't know about, or maybe your car will start one..
First of all check your car matts, they tend to slip under your accelarator and when you hit the break it wont let you stop.

How old is your bimmer?
