I want to buy a sports car and I only have 2cars in my mind, M3 or Skyline r34? or should i wait til E90 hits the market?

Depends, for the new V8 M3 you're gonne need the thick end of 40k. For an R34 your's gonna need about 20k. A fairer comparison would be the E46 M3, both cars can be had for 20k in good condition.

Depends how good a driver you are. Performance wise, there's very little between the two as standard. A Skyline is easier to tune if thats your thing but personally the 276bhp they quote is a fallacy. The original R32 was quoted as 276bhp, and since then, they've made the R34 quicker in everyway, all with the same 276bhp engine, doesn't take a genius to figure out that you can only do so much by lightening a car.

Personally I'd go for the M3, it's classier, and inside it feels more special in a quality kind of way. The Skyline's built well but it's a bit plasticky. The M3 is also, for me, the drivers car of the two. A chimp can make a skyline go quick, it takes considerably more conviction and skill to hustle an M3 through the bends at ten tenths. Besides, the shriek from the VANOS engine at full chat is something else, it's common knowledge that the M-power straight six is one of the best engines in the world. If you can find one, the sequential box is one of a kind and gives it a race car feel, as you punch the gear stick forward to shift up, and back for down.

Skyline mucho problems importing to america. Available on preorder with some company in california. Also available only USED. Right hand drive which is illegal in north america. Hard to register with DMV.
