When I try to unlock my car via the remote control key the alarm goes off and the only way to turn it off is to open the hood and insert the alarm key. This has happened randomly throughout the past couple of years.
Sometimes the alarm goes off while I have my car parked outside the house. Does anyone have a clue of what is the problem?
I am planning to take it to a mechanic next week but since it is something that happens randomly I don鈥檛 know if they will find the problem.
