i drive a 2002 bmw 325i with 90,000 miles but i still get compliments, and looks all the time! i love my car and wouldnt own anything else. im a bmw owner for life!

i agree i;ve had 318ci, 325ci sport cab, 330ci sport cab, 4.4 x5 now m3 e46 cab thinking of getting rid for m5, wifes got 116 sport. love them
BMW have some good models but, overall, I prefer the Audi range.
I had a 15 year one as a cheap runabout. It was the 323i and went like stink but drank fuel.

Considering its age, there was no rattles or squeaks from it so they are well put together.

Failed its MOT on corrosion around the suspension mounts. It seems that can rot underneath. Shame.
BMWs are like any other cars, they have good points and bad. I just happen to think that German quality is a bit of a con. All BMW ( and VW, Audi as well ) do is build an ordinary car, make the interior panels and switches very heavy %26 solid, chuck in a couple of hundred kilos of sound-deadening material and Hey Presto, a 'quality' car. And we fall for it!
