LOW COOLANT/ANTIFREEZE!

You should be worried because there is possibly a leak in your system, and your engine might overheat soon!

You should take immediate action to at least top it up, and watch it closely for the next few days.

The guys at my dealer would normally do this for me for free, just explain to them you have no time send the car in but want to make sure the car is at least "safe" to drive for a few more days.

Or, if you prefer to do the job yourself, buy a bottle of BMW coolant from your dealer, mix it 50/50 with water, and pour it in.

Low coolant level is what the light means if you have the owners manual look up indicator/waring lights in the index. the manual has a list and pictuer of all the warning lights.
It's true the dealer should be able to top the coolant off for free; they did this for me on my '01 325i Sport. Later, when I needed some other things done, I let them drain and replace the coolant. Between the cost of the coolant and dealing with the waste coolant, it was a reasonable cost.

Don't put just any coolant in there to top it off, it could spell trouble.
