BMW F800ST. How much on the rd?matchless
You seem to be implying "Out the door price" If so get a NADA book look at the resale price (assuming it's new) for essentially brand new condition. Then deduct another 27% this is an APROXIMATE dealer cost per unit less freight, tax, and any other discount鈥檚 for things like volume. This is the equation that can be used to determine the APPROXIMATE profit (room to negotiate for your business) that the dealer stands to make.
You will not get any salesman or employee to validate this so the information would not wisely be used to influence a deal on a bike. Use other angle's. profit is often moved from the resale of a trade to compensate a "lose" on a new disscount, this also works both ways. Tact, act like you know but tell what cards you have. EVER. Consider it a win if you get a grand off.
